Born and raised in the Midwest, T. Patrick Harnois graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016 with a dual degree in Psychology and Criminal Law and Justice. He then moved to Washington to enroll in Seattle University School of Law. During his legal education, he volunteered with the Moderate Means Program for two years, connecting low-income clients with participating attorneys willing to represent them for reduced fees. He was made the lead Administrative Assistant for the Seattle University branch of MMP for his second year.

T. Patrick completed two externships during his studies as well. In the summer of 2017, he worked with the Washington Defender Association, drafting practice advisories on a variety of criminal law topics for use by defense attorneys. The following year, he externed under the Honorable Judge Bill Bowman at Maleng Regional Justice Center, performing legal research and drafting a bench book for the Bahamian Magistrate Court System.

After earning his Juris Doctor degree and passing the Bar Exam, he joined a small law firm in the Beacon Hill area of Seattle as an associate attorney, where he developed and polished his practice of family law. After serving clients there for ten months, he accepted a position at Seacoma Law, PLLC, also in the family law field. He strongly believes in respecting clients’ time and intelligence, and strives to deliver same-day responses to communications. He works directly with his clients in drafting pleadings, to ensure their core concerns are given the weight and clarity they deserve, and is a fierce advocate for them in court.

In his spare time, T. Patrick is an avid gamer, music fan, and movie buff. He is more than happy to take calls from clients while out of the office; just be prepared for his cat Sweet Dee to join in the conversation from the background.
